so last night was amazing! my youth group went camping in kentucky at this old 3000 acre plantation. we drove for like an hour listening to "soulja boy" (i officially HATE that song!), and then we drove in a field for forever before we finally got to our "campsite". it was in a clump of trees next to a creek, so we had the sound of running water in the background, it was so peaceful! we started a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows, and went exploring and just ran around for about an hour. then we all came back and played Big Booty around the campfire! do ya'll remember that game?! it made me think of Constance! then me and some friends lay down some sleeping bags in a field and watched the stars. it was so nice to just get away from civilization for a while. i didn't have to worry about anything and i had no obligations whatsoever. looking at the stars made me feel nice and small and insignificant. i think its good to realize that the world doesn't revolve around me every once in a while.
at around 12 we went back to the church cuz it was so cold, and the girls selpt in the youth house and the boys slept in the church. then this morning we got doughnuts and sat around talking and laughing. later we were out playing football and one of our elders, steve, fell and hit his head. we were really worried for a while, cuz it wouldn't stop bleeding and he almost passed out. but he's okay now!
julie just told me that we only have a few weeks til thanksgiving! that means we get to see robert soon! it makes me warm and fuzzy inside! :)
i'm singing the national anthem at the conference championships tonight, so i'm excited. i love to sing that song!
well, thats a recap of my life over the last 14 hours.

yay for basketball (said like caren and elizabeth)
so today was an interesting day. in the middle of third period i got called out of class and there is my friend hillary standing there with a dozen roses! needless to say, i was surprized! they were beautiful pink long stemmed roses. no one has ever given me roses before! sorry, i'm kinda harping on the roses, but i just love them (and hillary!).
today we had basketball practice. i am beginning to realize how much i take breathing for granted! we ran so much i'm pretty sure no one was breathing! it was a good practice tho.
i'm having a conversation with my mom about green bananas at the moment. i love green bananas!
are you happy now, hannah?
hope i haven't bored everyone to tears!
